Our commonly used pure cotton yarns are mainly combed and carded. Combed yarn contains less impurities, less short fibers, more complete separation of single fibers, and better straightening and balance of fibers. Carded yarn is mainly yarn spun after refining long-staple cotton and cotton blended yarn.
Generally speaking, the content of long-staple cotton in combed yarn is basically between 30 and 40%. If you want a higher-grade yarn, you must specify the content of long-staple cotton in the yarn, which is generally between 70 and 100%. The content and price will vary greatly. If the customer has no special requirements, just use 30~40% long-staple cotton. Others will be determined separately.
Usually 50 yarn count and 60 yarn count generally use 30~40% long-staple cotton. The content of long-staple cotton above 70 yarn count is generally between 80~100%. Carded yarn is mostly used for low-grade gray fabrics, mainly used for 30 Compared with 40 yarn count, these varieties are much more expensive than 50S/60S. After the fabric is processed and dyed, it is easy to distinguish whether combed or carded cotton yarn is used. We can see from the surface of the fabric that it is smooth, not too hairy, and feels very delicate.
Factors that determine the quality of a shirt
1. Fabrics: The current prices of fabrics from low to high mainly include polyester, cotton, linen, and silk. The mainstream in the market is cotton, which is comfortable to wear and easy to care for.
2. Count: The higher the count, the thinner the yarn, and the more expensive the price. In the past, 40-count yarn was considered a high-count yarn, but now 100-count yarn is very common, so there is not much difference between 45-count yarn and 50-count yarn. Not good. 3. Number of strands: The number of strands is how many yarns the shirt fabric is woven from. There are single strands and double strands. Double strands have a better feel, are more delicate, and are more expensive.
The factors that affect shirts include brand, craftsmanship and design.

Generally, cotton shirts cost about 80 yuan, with high prices ranging from 100 to 200 yuan. Better shirts containing silk, linen, etc. are more expensive.

Which cotton cloth is better, 40-count or 60-count, and which one is thicker?

The yarn count of 40 is thicker, so the cotton cloth woven is thicker, and the yarn count of 60 is fine, so the cotton cloth woven is thinner.
